MindLink XMPP Federation Gateway for Microsoft Teams 2020 Update

MindLink XMPP Federation Gateway for Microsoft Teams 2020 Update

To follow up on our previous post titled ‘XMPP federation for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business 2019’ where we discussed the effectiveness of XMPP in achieving federation, we want to provide an update on our recent developments with the MindLink XMPP Federation Gateway for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business.

Having demonstrated bi-directional instant messaging and presence modalities between Teams and XMPP-based platforms, our future developments will include capabilities like:

  • Federated Persistent Chatrooms
  • Filtering
  • Advanced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Controls

As we approach the next phase of development, we will be working towards launching a pilot for the MindLink XMPP Federation Gateway with organisations seeking to test and evaluate federation capabilities.

Within the coming months we will announce further details, to stay tuned please subscribe to our blog or get in touch with us directly to register your interest to participate in the pilot.

In the meantime, please visit the MindLink XMPP Federation Gateway page and download a copy of the fact sheet to read more.
