The MindLink XMPP Federation Gateway allows Microsoft Teams, or Skype for Business users to communicate directly with users on XMPP-based systems over instant messaging.
The MindLink XMPP Gateway for Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams is a self-contained stateless gateway which is deployable on-premise or cloud-compute infrastructure.
Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams users see remote users in partner domains as standard federated users. Both Skype/Teams and XMPP users are addressed using a <user>@<domain.com> format username, these usernames are mapped directly between SIP/XMPP identities bidirectionally across the gateway.
The MindLink XMPP Gateway has built-in security features to ensure only specific users can communicate with whitelisted remote XMPP domains. This is achieved through the implementation of:
